Dr. Shamsul Alam Roky is a dedicated veterinarian and researcher who completed his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 2019 at the Faculty of Veterinary, Medicine, and Biomedical Sciences, Sylhet Agricultural University, Bangladesh. He further advanced his expertise by earning a Master’s degree from the same institution.
Dr. Roky is currently serving with distinction as a Captain in the Bangladesh Army (Remount Farm and Veterinary Corps), where he applies his skills to advance animal health and welfare.
His leadership extends beyond his military role, having served as a university ambassador for the Poultry Science Association (PSA) and the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE).
Recognised for his outstanding academic and research achievements, Dr. Roky has been the recipient of numerous scholarships and awards, including those from the International Veterinary Students Association and the Poultry Science Association in the USA. He has also contributed to the scientific community by publishing several peer-reviewed articles, leaving a meaningful impact in the field of veterinary research.
