What is the history & origin of the Boglen Terrier?

The Boglen Terrier had likely been around for some time however it wasn't until the early 2000s that people started breeding them purposefully. Breeding a Beagle parent with a Boston Terrier to produce a Boglen Terrier puppy was thought to have started out in North America.

The Beagle Boston Terrier mix wasn't just bred because of its appealing looks, there were also some health benefits. They have longer snouts than the Boston Terrier parent breed and as a result, they have less difficulty with breathing properly.
