WESTENGO is a Perth-based breeder specialising in Portuguese Podengo Small Smooth dogs, transitioning from a background in Cairn Terriers. The breeder’s mission is to promote the Podengo breed and demonstrate their qualities as perfect companions.
With over 20 years of breeding, showing, and grooming experience, initially under the prefix Banmhor with Cairn Terriers, they began their Podengo journey in 2016 through Sleykh kennels and produced Western Australia’s first Podengo litter in 2018 under the Sleykh prefix.
