Vashka Samoyed is a small kennel in Launceston focused on selective breeding to enhance the quality and working ability of Samoyeds, including showing coloured Samoyeds beyond just white ones. The kennel produces show champions from Australian, English, Finnish, New Zealand and American lines, with all breeding stock undergoing hip scoring at appropriate ages.
Vashka has been involved in showing and breeding Samoyeds for more than 20 years, achieving numerous successes in both show championships and herding competitions. The kennel has produced multiple Samoyeds with herding titles, including pioneering achievements like the first Samoyed to gain the HSAs in Australia and the only imported Samoyed to gain a herding award.
