SHAKURU, located in Mount Barker, SA, is a dedicated Rhodesian Ridgeback breeder focusing on breed improvement and raising healthy companions through a selective breeding program that emphasises temperament, structure, movement, and breed function. All breeding dogs undergo comprehensive health screening including hip and elbow dysplasia checks, heart screening, and DNA profiling for DM and JME.
Operating since 2000, SHAKURU is a proud member of the RR Club of SA and Dogs SA, adhering to their Code of Ethics. They have achieved notable success with Best In Show winners, Royal winners, and multiple Class In Group and Class In Show victories at both Specialty and All Breeds level.
