Rickaby Kennels, located in Newcastle NSW, specialises in Grand Basset Griffon Vendeen hounds and has been importing champion bloodlines from the UK. The kennel consistently produces Specialty show and Royal Show winning dogs under the guidance of Debbie & Darrell Matthews.
Established in 1962, Rickaby Kennels has achieved numerous accolades including producing Australia’s first Grand Champion of the breed in 2013 and Australia’s first home-bred Grand Champion in 2014. The kennel has also produced multiple Supreme Champions, with their dogs achieving significant wins at prestigious shows including Sydney Royal.
