RAKAIA is a Whippet breeder based in Bunbury, WA, specialising in breeding dogs with robust temperaments suitable for both loving pets and sporting companions. Their breeding program combines traditional Australian bloodlines with modern breeding through their current dogs River, Doris and Steven.
Operating since 2006, RAKAIA’s Whippets have demonstrated excellence in Agility and Lure Coursing competitions, with notable achievements including Best on Course wins and their homebred dog being among the first in WA to obtain a Lure Coursing Title. Their breeding lines are founded on established Australian bloodlines including Hydale and Gayregal.
