OCHAYE is a small kennel in Brisbane specialising in Australian Shepherds, where temperament is their primary focus, aiming to produce sound dogs of correct breed type. All their dogs undergo health testing and are considered family members first and foremost.
The breeders have both been involved in showing dogs for the past 15 years, starting as Junior Handlers, with one partner specifically campaigning Australian Shepherds for 10 years. Their achievements include producing Australia’s Youngest Supreme Champion Australian Shepherd, Optimus, who ranked as Australia’s #2 Australian Shepherd in both 2016 and 2017.
