NAYEMBE is a registered Basenji breeder located in Tamworth, NSW, with a focus on breeding and showing quality Basenjis that live as beloved family companions. Their kennel name ‘Nayembe’ comes from the Lingala language meaning ‘I sing’, reflecting their dedication to these unique ‘barkless’ dogs that still find ways to communicate.
Operating since 2010 with their first Basenji, NAYEMBE is a member of Dogs NSW and the Basenji Club of NSW, with numerous champion dogs including Best in Specialty Show winners, Royal show sashes, and Crufts qualifiers. Their dogs are health tested for eyes and DNA, and they regularly participate in breed promotions including the Sydney Dog Lovers Show.
