ELSASS is a boutique German Shepherd Dog kennel operated by Lorraine, her husband Tass and daughter Grace on their 10-acre farm in the Tamar Valley, Tasmania. They focus on breeding German Shepherds with exceptional temperaments and sound bloodlines, raising their dogs as beloved family pets who enjoy the farm’s paddocks and dam.
Established in 1984, ELSASS has developed strong breeding lines with dogs that have achieved successful show careers and are hip/elbow scored through the GSDCA scheme. They maintain imported German bloodlines and operate as a small, selective breeding program focused on quality over quantity.
