Dog Tails Avalon is a small, family-owned Miniature Dachshund kennel based on King Island, Tasmania, operated by Johan and Larissa Pretorius as part of the Dog Tails King Island Collective. Their speciality is breeding long hair mini-dachshunds in various colours including cream, black and cream, chocolate and cream, black and tan, chocolate and tan, clear red and shaded red.
The breeder conducts DNA testing through Paw Print Genetics (US) and implements early neurological stimulation to develop robust and outgoing puppies. All their dogs live as part of the family on their small farm where they focus on providing the best available nutrition and care.
