Daintyfield is a Sydney-based breeder specialising in quality Field Spaniels, with a strong focus on importing new lines to improve breed diversity in Australia. Their breeding program emphasises health testing and temperament, implementing Puppy Culture training for all puppies before they go to their forever homes.
The breeders have a rich family history with Gundogs dating back to the 1970s, including experience with Irish Setters, German Shorthaired Pointers, and Gordon Setters. They established their Field Spaniel breeding program with Australian Champion Dawnus Oh Sweet Cheeses (Harper) in 2019, who has passed all required health tests including hip scoring, eye tests, and heart tests in 2021.
