Clearun (formerly Sugargum) is a Melbourne-based Australian Shepherd breeder specialising in quality dogs for conformation, agility, herding and flyball. All their dogs undergo hip scoring, DNA eye testing and temperament testing to ensure the highest breeding standards.
Leslie Mathieson imported the first Aussies from the USA in 1992, establishing a successful breeding program that has produced outstanding dogs including the only ASCV Hall of Fame recipient, Gideon. Their dogs have achieved multiple Best in Shows and Runner Up Best in Shows, with notable champions like Multi BIS Aust Supreme Ch.’Stonehaven’s London Calling’ and Aust Gr.Ch. & Am Ch Sugargum Top Shelf.
